Tk has just completed the first flawless project of 2022. This 5 track EP is a no-skip project. His sound and style are so beautiful and delivered across these 5 tracks. His versatility is on display, with tracks like "Hardaway" featuring melodic rap and "Eyes" featuring his R&B side and showcasing his vocal abilities. This was not something I expected at first. This is something I believe is extremely difficult to achieve. Because his rapping and vocal abilities surpass those of many other artists I know in that city. "Show Me," my personal favorite, is melodic in nature. This song has a great vibe and emotion to it. Everything from the instrumental choices to the cadence and delivery is flawless. Tk seems to have spent some time finding himself before all of these tracks. He comes across as very confident in his delivery, which caught my attention right away. Tracks like "Pop" have a higher energy level, with bouncy flows and fun delivery. This is a Lil Baby-style track with a Toronto Tk aesthetic. His vocal tones and range are far beyond what Lil Baby can do though, making this track much more than just a rap track. Tk's cadence is one of his strongest qualities. His voice has this perfect tone that just punches through the beat, and his melodic overtones and distinctive flows really elevate things to the next level. This is one of the main reasons his biggest single, "Hardaway," has over 185,000 streams on Spotify alone. People really resonated with his message and his sound. This project perfectly showcases that, as well as his versatility and overall potential. I'm excited to hear some more from Tk, maybe a future full-length album or even another Ep would be crazy. Regardless, Tk is one of the best coming up right now with a bright future and music that makes a difference.
