Antwunn has just released his first four-track mixtape, "Don't Hate What You See 2." It’s been some time since he was last released and I’m happy he is back. The tape contains two new singles, an intro, and an interlude. These aren't complete tracks, but they are an interesting way to structure a project. It's difficult to call this a full project of any kind, but the structuring is so well done that it feels like a four-track EP. The tape begins with an intro titled "LAS INTRO," in which Antwunn discusses his movement and how he shows love and support to his peers. Something I feel many other artists lack. It's always nice to have a strong community surrounding one person, but it's even better when that community is shared with others. The tape's first full single, "Final Destination," features Lil Esso. Antwunn's cadence becomes even more distinct and confident on this tape. The production, done by Esso himself, is superb and really brings the tone together. The instrumentals are simple, but they provide a strong backbone and set the tone for the track. Antwunn's lyricism is by far some of the best in the underground. He has a way with words that I can't quite describe. He has a way of combining rhymes that hit you hard while also leaving an impression with their meaning. That with  Esso's background vocals was a fantastic combo throughout, as was his verse. This is a deep song and I love how Esso really went all in. This one hits me differently because the messaging is so relatable. Its melodic approach makes it very memorable; it's something that you'll remember after hearing the song for the first time even if you don't relate to the verse. Antwunn's vocals on "My All (Interlude)" are among the best I've ever heard. It gave me chills when I first heard it, and it pleasantly surprised me. "What To Do?" is the title of the tape's second full track. This song has a strong melodic emphasis. This is further pushed by the fact that Antwunn got Ty Lab to hope on this track. Ty delivers an incredible vocal performance on this one. He adds a lot of energy and emotion to the track. Antwunn delivers a great and memorable verse, and this track stands out as the project's highlight. The contrast between Ty and Antwunn is fantastic. This is a beautiful parring that I need to hear again in the future. I feel we need more Antwunn these days, I full-length project would be amazing but even a full-length EP would be great.
