LOWERCASE has just published his new 5-track EP titled "PILOT EPISODE A." LOWERCASE is a fantastic performer with exceptional lyrical ability and a strong cadence. His delivery is intentional and melodic, which I enjoy. The production is excellent, with wonderfully paired beats and an atmosphere that is established right away. I appreciate lyrical content, especially when it's done more melodically and delivers on the experience musically for casual listeners, which is something I really like about LOWERCASE. His branding is distinctive, which helps him stand out. I enjoy how even his simple name is spelled in all upper case characters. It's basic yet powerful, which is essential in the rap game, especially in more competitive areas like lyrical/conscious rap. At this time, the fading breed of lyrically conscious rappers is not news, but what has emerged are more refined unique artists that blend modern sounds with the verbal presence of vintage 90s rap. It's something to marvel at, and it's a fantastic symbol to witness. "PILOT EPISODE A." is a project featuring a wide range of vibes, from slower, more delicate tracks like "Spirits" and "YKTINTERLUDE" to faster, more energetic tracks like "COUCH PYSCHE" and "RUN." My personal favourite is "RUN," in which I maintain the proper degree of intensity while delivering a beautiful verse with a memorable hook and a punchy beat that ties everything together. This project is quality from top to bottom, no skips and his approach and style is one that stands out will captivate new listeners as more songs hit the playlists. I’m excited to see where LOWERCASE goes next and what he plans on releasing next.
