Misaa - already left
Weekly Music
Misaa has finally released her long-awaited EP, "already left." The EP includes singles such as "thinkin bout u," "backseat ballad," and "honey covered backwoods." Misaa has an incredible voice; her vocals are among the best I've ever heard. Her music demonstrates that she is a natural. She can really sing, and it doesn't sound fake or manufactured. Her vocal range is fantastic, her pitch is perfect, and her tone is just right, not too high or too low. Her instrumental choices for the project were also fantastic; they were all well chosen and helped set the right mood for the project. Many artists either overperform or underperform when the beat is simply carrying the entire song. Misaa has chosen simple yet powerful instrumentals that don't get in the way of the song's overall atmosphere. Some of Kwazii's production can be heard on her track "honey covered backwoods." This is an easy no skip project with a few different speeds but a similar sound and overall style that keeps this consistent. I love when artists keep it consistent, this is what will get her further. Keep a sound that will resonate with people and also stick to it so people know what to expect. This is the first major step in Misaa's future as a star; she has so much incredible raw talent that her discography can't even fully display yet. I'm hoping for more singles this year, as well as a full-length album sometime next year. I hope to see a few big features from like-minded creatives to bring some consigns in but I love how she is doing things on her own with no real major push or cosign, just letting the music speak for her.
