Bushman's most recent project, "Canvas," has a long list of hits, and it's no comparison. Bushman's music is currently reaching new heights. Drake showed love on Instagram by sharing a story of him playing “YWR.” I'm glad to see that someone deserving of a Drake shout-out is finally getting one, even if it's only on Instagram. Bushman's voice and cadence is one of his most distinguishing and noticeable musical characteristics. His flows and delivery are important, but his vocal tone and style are truly unique. "Canvas" is a full-length project featuring 17 singles. It's difficult to choose my favourites because there are so many good tracks to choose from and not a single dud. I have to commend him on the fact that the entire project is full of high-quality music that has been carefully crafted and selected. The amount of time and money required is significant, and I can only admire the amount of love and energy put into this project. Everything from the beat selection to the delivery, to the mixing and overall production, and even the album art was meticulously considered. So well-crafted, and it will be a significant step and memory in his career. The project has several high energy levels. "Billboards," "Top Tier," and "YWR" are all hits that have the perfect formula for success. "YWR" is already making headlines and spreading throughout the city. But Bushman also has some heavy hitters and emotional tracks like “Masterpiece,” “Left Right,” and “Destinations.” These have a more melodic and emotional feel to them. His delivery is flawless on every track; it's incredible to hear him sound so natural on these beats. One of the main reasons why Bushman's music is so memorable is the way he commits to his delivery and makes it so melodic. As previously stated, his voice is distinct, but it is how he employs it that distinguishes him. Even with that distinct voice and super melodic overtone, you have a man telling his story with some profound lyrical content. Bushman has experience outside of music, and that experience is what makes his music so powerful and interesting. The most important aspect of art is having life experience. That is why the most memorable music, videos, and movies are always created by people aged 30 and up. Because, while there are few technical changes in skills as you get older, it is life experience that makes the art better and more true to life. When you combine that with Bushman's already well-known name, his distinct vocals, and great beat selection. It's a surefire recipe for success. “Canvas” is a very well-put-together project with many potential hits on it, as well as some heartfelt tracks that feel like they are coming from the heart. This is a great project from someone who is making his way to the top as we speak. I’m excited to see where Bushman goes next, lets see where the Drake cosign may do in the next few months and I hope to hear more at some point in 2023.
