Kalisway's most recent release is a six-song EP titled "CAN'T TELL ME NOTHING." Kali's music has a refreshing quality about it. Kali's cadence is lively but punchy. Throughout the project, I enjoyed the fun, vibrant delivery and the unique ad libs. Kali's style is a hybrid of R&N and alternative hiphop pop styles. Kali truly created a new lane that I had never heard before. I like the cartoonish approach to the project's style and design. It's artistic but still very clean and professional.  Kali's vocal tones are fantastic, as are her vocal range and delivery. It has a lot of range, and Kali knows how to control and use it in ways that I believe most people don't. "I CAN DO ANYTHING," "CAN'T TELL ME NOTHING," and "PETER PAN" are among the project's standout tracks. "PETER PAN" is my personal favourite; the fun bright instrumentals and cute vocal delivery make for a great vibe out track. This song has the potential to be used in a show or even a cartoon. It has a memorable hook and an infectious flow that really pulls everything together. The simple yet punchy beat provides much needed bounce and backbone while maintaining a fun bright vibrant undertone. Kali has truly created magic with this song, and her talents and distinct style are evident throughout the project. "CAN'T TELL ME NOTHING" has been streamed over 67,000 times. That and her consistency is what makes the music stand out. It's been making the rounds on playlists and through word of mouth. We need more artists like Kali, just bringing a different energy to the table. Having fun and making music to brighten moods and to bring a new vision to life.
