Top5 & Pressa & 6ixbuzz - 401

Top5 teamed up with Pressa and 6ixbuzz to release a highly anticipated single titled “401.” I've never covered Top5's music for a variety of reasons, some of which are the politicals in the city, but whatever you think of him, he has the ability to be a popular and well-talked-about character throughout the city. And that is something you must respect no matter who you are. Love and respect are two different things and you can have one without the other. So, whether you like him or despise him, you have to admire how far he has come and how powerful he is. “401” stood out to me cause it felt tamer than his other music, all his music is catchy and that is something that makes him really punch through the critics. I am someone who can tell the difference between people and their music, and I really liked the vibes and tone of this track. Top5 appears to be maturing into a more versatile artist with a more diverse discography. Pressa delivered a fantastic and memorable verse, his cadence on this track sounding very refined and clean. I really like his new mixing style. He sounds so advanced and feels like he's becoming a star with each new single. The city is heating up, and the world is waking up to the music emerging from it. Even though some may disagree, the city requires a Top5. It draws attention to the city, for better or worse. Top5 has accomplished some things that we all take for granted. He's put Toronto on the map in hoods all over the world, and that's just the beginning of his legacy. The largest Toronto media platform, 6ixbuzz, is a strong supporter of Top5 and has played an important role in promoting his music. This collaboration strikes me as a very smart and calculated way to reach millions of people who would otherwise be unaware of the Toronto drill or Toronto rap in general. 6ixbuzz, a Toronto-based page, has amassed a large fan base outside of Canada. So there are hundreds of thousands of people who have never heard of Toronto, and it's fantastic that 6ixbuzz has been doing its part to promote the scene. "401" has a catchy melodic vibe that I believe will become one of Top5's most popular tracks to date.
