Taaylee released her latest single, "Certified Finessa." Taaylee just gave an insane performance, her flows and cadence bringing the west coast LA sound to Toronto. She exudes an energy that I believe immediately draws you in. The tone of her voice and her confidence immediately stand out, and not in an arrogant way. Her abilities behind the microphone are undeniable, but how she puts it all together is crucial. Her lyrical content is excellent; it’s not corny, but rather enjoyable and I'm sure it’s relatable to enough people. Everything about the production quality is excellent, from the mix to the overall beat selection. Everything had a reason and a purpose, the vision is clear, and it appears that the vision was realized in the final product. It flows beautifully and has a concise look and feel. That is something that is lacking in many other music videos and even tracks in the general release space in the city. It’s just a mush of random music with no real purpose intent or even at least quality elements behind it. Taaylee has the track's foundation based on a great west coast beat style with all of the traditional characteristics that make it so recognizable. It’s over the top like some others I have heard recently. When combined with the classic 80s west coast hydraulic Cadillacs, the music video provides a complete experience. Taaylee has made huge strides and moves in the last year. Getting seen by BIA herself and performing at Rolling Loud this year too.  She has received a positive overall response from the community, and I believe she has yet to reach her full potential. She's really only getting started. She has the sound, the style, and the look-down pat. It's only a matter of time before she's the hottest thing in town.
