Needed Time - City Fidelia

City Fidelia

City Fidelia delivered a beautiful performance and a show of vocal talent on "Needed Time". The drum-less instrumentals place a greater emphasis on the lyrics in this track. City brings a more venerable side to the table, and it's done beautifully. Everything from the vocal tones to the delivery exudes natural energy that immediately establishes the tone. City has been making music for a long time. His first record, "A Pisces World," was released in 2015, and it was a 9-track project full of heavy hitters such as "All In", "Stress-Free, and "She Wanna". This is also taking into account the fact that he was producing songs prior to the first release. Adding to his experience and skill. He's a seasoned vet at this point, and the music reflects that. The confidence on the mic stems from a love of the craft as well as the experience of releasing music over the previous 7 years. I like how raw the music sounds; it's not cluttered with unnecessary additions and gets right to the point. Raw not in the mix quality but in the vibe itself. It feels pure and unobstructed like a lot of music that gets cluttered with overpowering 808s and effects. I love the beautiful harmonies and melodies. He just floats on the instrumentals. It stands in stark contrast to more strong rap tracks such as "Drugs and Loaded Weapons" and "College Dropout." City has a distinct voice and delivery that lends itself to a wide range of styles and sounds. He truly is a one-of-a-kind artist with no boundaries, and this track exemplifies that.
