Lil Grayski - Don't Gotta Say ft. Yung Kaplun
Weekly Music
Lil Grayski and Yung Kaplun have just dropped their latest collaboration titled "Don't Gotta Say," which is undoubtedly Lil Grayski's best work to date. The track features a catchy and memorable melody that runs throughout and creates an undeniable vibe. I particularly appreciate the exceptional flows, melodies, and overall delivery of the track. The instrumentals establish the moody and darker aesthetic right from the start, setting the tone for the rest of the song. The music video for "Don't Gotta Say" is brilliantly executed, with New Wave Visuals deserving props for creating a simple yet striking visual that perfectly complements the song's aesthetics. The colors and tones are something that I take very seriously and lots of videos don’t meet that standard, but New Wave did his thing here. Definitely one of his better videos. The production is one of the standout features of this track, with Lil Grayski's vocals blending perfectly with the instrumentals to create a very melodic and memorable piece that got stuck in my head long after listening. The mixing is well done, and the atmosphere set by the instrumentals was a key element that made this track what it is. The atmosphere is something a lot of artists lack and I’m glad Grayski finally found his way around it, and it sounds amazing. The feature, Yung Kaplun delivers a solid verse that is both impressive and memorable, which is something I can’t always say for featured artists in the hip-hop scene. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of his verse, I like his vocal tonality here. It matches the overall track and Grayski’s cadence style. Lastly, this release is a testament to Lil Grayski's growing talent and showcases his prowess in the hip-hop industry. I’m excited to see where he goes next and hope he continues to develop this sound and style.
