French Connections - 3MFrench
3MFrench
3MFrench has just released an eight-track EP titled "French Connections." This album is jam-packed with bangers like "Trophy," "Toxic," and "Tables Turn." I appreciate the consistency of this project; French put a lot of work into his sound and his delivery and you can hear his confidence just radiate through the screen. Each tune stands on its own and has brought something new to the overall vibe of the project. French is underappreciated for his voice and cadence; it's a voice that I've never heard anyone come close to before. His natural delivery and smooth bouncy flow work together to produce hits like "Toxic." All of this is held together by the high production of the city's countless dope producers, such as Jaahvenchy and Dare. "It Gets Real" is a highly underrated song; it hits different with a more sensitive tone, which only helps this track hit deep and brings out the lyrical content on full display. French discusses difficult and real topics throughout his happy fast vibe tunes, but something about this slower more intentional beat and slower more open delivery just provide for a unique experience, especially from someone like French. Knowing the culture and street gangs and artists it's not often you see someone making music like this and it's great to see. No one in the city digs into the deeper meaning of musicians like Frech, which I think is a shame because his songs include a lot of knowledge and depth that the typical listener will never grasp. But it's not only about the message; it's also about how you convey it. And French does it quite well, delivering his work with a lively instrumental and a particularly heavy and raspy voice that brings it all together. I can speak a lot about french but his music speaks for itself and it's a project worth checking out.
