FBK - Nevermind It
Weekly Music
FBK's most recent release is his most refined work to date. I believe his sound is becoming more rich and fitting to his image, voice, and the upcoming new generation of talents. The style and approach he made was the right one, this track feels more natural compared to his earlier work. The new generation is gradually rejecting the Toronto sound that was built in the sound cloud era times of 2015-2019. FBK represents the new generation, and I'm glad he's finding his own sound. The track begins with a fun colorful electronic marimba and a nice punchy bass to keep things moving. FBK’s vocals are smooth and perfectly melodic. I really like the mix quality and overall production on this track. I like this style because it doesn't necessitate a lot of production work to sound good. The experimental nature of this style is what makes it so enjoyable. But also how natural and assured the performer sounds. On this track, FBK's vocal tone and vocal range were beautifully showcased. His vocal ability is fantastic, and I believe he can push it even further in ways he is still unsure of. I can hear his full potential in his voice, his cadence is evolving, and I'm already impressed with what he's capable of. "Nevermind it" is an excellent example of FBK's potential; his vocal range and rhythmic ability are both on display. I'm looking forward to hearing more music with this kind of timing. Perhaps some more hyperpop/plugnb styles in the future. His potential is limitless, and the sky is the limit. The only thing left is to up the consistency and release frequency, after that he’s off to another planet.
