Critical - Shy

Shy

Shy, a Mississauga native has released a new song titled "Critical." This one is flowing with emotion. I can sense the anguish as much as they desire. Everything from the instrumentals to the beat to the flow to the cadence to the lyrics has a passionate emotional sense to it. Shy has that American sound, he doesn't have that conventional Toronto accent, and I love it. His style has shifted dramatically from his prior works, and he now sounds like a completely different musician. I believe he has discovered his true identity as an artist. Shy's more experimental approach may be heard on tracks such as "Vision - Extended" and "Monday Vibes." Monday has a smoother, more memorable flow and lyrical substance. This was coming closer to the sound we'd heard on "Critical." I, like most, believe that "Critical" is his greatest piece of work; the more confident emotional approach has shown to be Shy's best path. He has a good voice for vocal rap and probably enough substance to talk about in his music. Everyone goes through life and there is a lot of experiences that are worth talking about.
