This adds a little bit of spice before CJ even gets on the track and sets the tone for what’s to come. CJ offers this powerful yet melodic cadence that reminds me of a mix between Lil Wayne and Drake. That is the best way I can describe his cadence and voice. His calm and deep voice is made forceful and significant by the thumpy beat and vocal overtones. I like the sound mix and the structure of this track. CJ has I think one of the best cadences and voices in the music scene today. It's limitless and doesn't get annoying over time. CJ takes his flows to the next level, as his vocal tones change constantly during the track, adding depth and excitement to his performance. This song features a simple yet memorable hook that flows seamlessly into his verses. In his verse, he uses the same tone and flows in his hook. CJ has mastered the art of blending and mixing sounds and styles to create something uniquely his own. He has mastered this throughout the years, and we can see it with tracks like this. CJ has even stated that he is a singer as well as a rapper. He's got the voice and the bars to make magic, and I believe the sound we heard on "Friendly Reminder" is exactly what we need to hear more of. At the present, I can only picture a full-length project, but I hope to see it later this year. CJ has been producing music for many years, and his sound has only grown stronger. I believe it is past time for CJ to start providing us with more music. Guys like Drake are now venturing into uncharted territory, as are the majority of others. The market requires something both imaginative and approachable. CJ not only produces creatively, but he also has broad appeal. I'm looking forward to seeing what CJ does next.
