Astrokidjay just delivered another banger with “Hunnid Dayz. Astro has been consistently releasing music and releasing hit-quality music one after the other. Astro has been in his bag for some time now but I feel he is at his best point musically. He has become the exciting artist we all knew he could be, pushing his sound forward and improving his discography. He's started to shine through a lot more this year—everything from the music to the consistency to the general quality has just improved for the better, and people have noticed. “Hunnid Dayz” has this vibe to it that just screams larger than life, I get this large, open, and grand feeling when listening to Jay’s music and the instrumentals he performs on. This, paired with the high-quality mixing and mastering of the music, as well as the high-end and theatrical music videos, ties everything together. Astro's melodies and flows are addicting, and the way he delivers his bars and glides on the beat makes it almost dreamlike and exhilarating. His vocal abilities are excellent; he has improved year after year, pushing notes that he was unable to touch the previous year. His cadence is a distinguishing aspect of his music; when you hear it, you know it's Astro; there's no mistaking him for anyone else. That is something I believe many rappers in Toronto struggle with, but I see Astro as more than just a rapper; his music has its own sound and flair. It's a more melodic rap, but even so, it's so distinct from everything else we're hearing these days that I feel Astro is just a stand-out artist. It'll only be a matter of time before Astro takes off. He has showcased a determined mindset and has been going to music full-time for a few years now. He has the sound and the look to take off, it's only a matter of time.
