10k Moss recently released a new single titled "Ain't No Love Song." I really like the energy and vibe he's conveying with this one. It's a lot more direct and to the point. The song begins with a slow melodic instrumental and some dope ad libs to build energy and tone. Moss has a dope flow that has the potential to catch on in the city. I like how he uses his voice, which, combined with his flow and delivery, gives off a lot of energy and depth. The message and overall lyrics are heavily emphasized in this song. There is no hype beat, over the top instrumental, but it does have a catchy hook and real lyrics behind a voice with experience and some pain. This track, on the other hand, is more of a journey through Moss' thoughts. He does bring things back with his hook but it blends in with the verse. He maintained that vocal overtone at the end of each line, and his cadence was consistent. I believe this was done for the fans and to express something more profound. This track still has that melodic accent, but it isn't the main focus or takeaway on the first listen. Moss demonstrated his versatility on his 2021 album "Twenty One," where I got to hear and see his sound and style. But there have been a few other releases since, and his sound has only improved and matured. This is grown Moss speaking, and you can tell by the emotion in his voice. I hope to hear more of this from Moss; no forced depressive music, but make some music and let the fans know when he's in that mood. Some of the most memorable music and fan-building moments have occurred as a result of adversity and relatability. I hope to hear some more music this year, and I'm also waiting on another project. Whether it's an EP or a full-length album, I'm there.
