Speng’s In The Ghetto is a hit, it checks of all the boxes. The fast paced rhythmic hook is so good it gets stuck in your head after the first listen. Speng flows beautify on the beat with ease, he makes it sound easy. The changes in flows and slight vocal pitch changes throughout the track is just that extra touch that makes the track that much better. His voice is very reminiscent to drake, that perfect blend of deep and high levels and a touch of that Canadian spice to top it all off. The instrumentals are simple but tie everything together into a fantastic energetic summer anthem.

The Montreal native Speng is a creative artist with a lot to offer but is extremely underrated. He has a great discography full of fantastic releases like his project titled “Expressions Of Now” released back in 2017 full of bangers like “Photos”, and “In The Fire”. This project definitely has a 2010s inspired sound, He sounds like Drake, Lil Wayne and elements of Eminem in the instrumentals. It’s a blend of sounds and something new for Toronto. Speng’s consistent releases combined with a clean aesthetic (as seen by his cover images) and Instagram are what makes Speng a real talented hard working artist. I can’t wait to see what Speng does next, he needs to work towards a new project of some sort. Either a short EP or a full Album. Show everyone what you can do and construct a quality project that will get your name out there. Projects are the best way for an artist to evolve and to learn, albums are what makes people become fans. This is the best place for an artist to express themselves and to take their sound and abilities to the next level.
