Fake Love by Yung Tory
Toronto Music Archive
“Fake Love” is a track that talks about some real shit when you break down the lyrics and when you move past the song itself. Fake love is everywhere, it’s something you got to learn to understand and see cause people will take advantage of you the second they see they can. The instrumentals go crazy, the production is top-notch and the overall track is just fantastic. Tory really made everything that much better, the flow changes gave the track that spice. Tory’s adlibs are great, it made things even more hype and took the vibe to another level. The product as a whole is fantastic and takes Tory to another level. He is one of the more successful Toronto artists with over 200k followers on Instagram and over 500k monthly listeners on Spotify. He definitely has been doing some great moves but “Fake Love” is something different and it does that in many ways.
The music video for “Fake Love” (Directed by Carlton Visuals & Marculetts) is great, the old man dancing with the models in the video made for a fun unique watching experience and just gave that video a higher rewatch value. These types of fun unique ideas should be incorporated in more videos, props to Marculetts for the unique approach to the edit and really making something different. It’s really refreshing to see that and it’s something we at DMTV family always do with our own music video. Yung Tory is bringing something different to the table and we can’t wait to see what he releases next.
