Myles Lloyd's

latest release, “What More Can I Say?,” is a collection of songs that really stands out in today’s music scene. Tracks like "Never Be the Same," "Thinking Out Loud," and "There for Me" feel fresh, energetic, and carefully crafted. I haven't heard a project this well-executed in quite a while. Each song seems thoughtfully designed, and there’s an undeniable sense of purpose and quality running through the entire project, something I feel is missing in a lot of today’s music.

The production is one of the first things that grabbed my attention. Everything sounds polished, from the beat choices to the overall mix. Myles didn’t just throw a bunch of tracks together—there’s a strong vision behind the music. Songs like "There for Me" and "Come Around" have this almost grand, larger-than-life quality. It’s hard to describe exactly what it is, but they give off this immersive vibe that pulls you in. They have that special atmosphere that makes them feel bigger than just a simple song playing in the background.

The vibe of each track is what really sets this project apart. I’ve always believed that the feel of a song is just as important as the lyrics, and Myles nails both aspects here. The production serves as the backbone of the project, giving the songs a solid foundation to stand on. But on top of that, the way Myles delivers his melodies is incredible. His melodic style feels fresh and sharp, which is impressive given how common melodies are in today’s music.

It’s easy to put together a catchy tune, but Myles goes beyond that by pairing those melodies with meaningful lyrics. In the world of Rap and Hip-Hop, finding someone who can balance great melodies with solid lyricism isn’t easy. Usually, you get one or the other, but here, Myles blends the two with ease. The Pop-driven production elevates everything even more, making each track feel radio-ready without losing its soul.

One thing I particularly enjoyed was how the music built a world of its own. The songs don’t just play—they create an environment around you. For me, a good song is one that helps you escape, if only for a few minutes. If a song doesn’t do that, is it really worth listening to? Myles’ project does this beautifully, pulling you into its universe and making you forget the world outside. Everyone has their own reasons for connecting with certain songs or albums, and this one just clicked with me on a deeper level. It’s all about the feeling this project gives off, and once you hear it, you’ll know what I mean.

The cover art also caught my eye. It has this dark, almost eerie vibe that feels more suited to a rock or heavy metal album. It reminds me of something you’d see from an artist signed to Opium. Interestingly, the cover doesn’t really match the music itself, but that contrast actually works in its favor. Before listening to this project, I hadn’t heard much of Myles Lloyd’s music, so I didn’t know what to expect. But after hearing it, I can say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
