That's Your Problem by SadBoi

SadBoi released a single titled “That’s Your Problem” that caught my attention on the first listen. I wasn't expecting to hear something so new and yet so familiar. She has so many great elements that all contribute to making this track what it is, but her cadence and delivery really stood out. She just has this charisma and level of excitement to her performance that I can’t even put into words. Her confidence and her unique flow really accent the traditional elements of this track. The instrumental and beat set the tone for the track; it's a high-energy, cinematic, and tropical sound achieved with a variety of percussion instruments such as bongos/congas and traditional shakers. I love the mix of natural instruments with the digital sounds to create this perfect beat that really adds a very exciting atmosphere to the track. It also adds complexity to the track while keeping it fun and exciting. SadBoi's flow is bouncy yet rhythmic, and it just gets you moving. Her cadence and vocal tonality are both perfect, and her voice is both satisfying and yet powerful. I like how she adds different flows and melodies to this track. She employs and extends her vocal range to create these fun and unique vocal rings with these abstract yet memorable flows. The overall production is outstanding as well. The mixing and mastering are done with care and precision. The product is very well structured, even if it appears to change the structure and flow frequently. It has a simple but memorable hook that sticks with you for hours after listening. It’s just such a catchy and fun hook with both lyrics and beautiful vocal melodies. SadBoi has me hooked, and this is only the first of many songs that I've had the opportunity to listen to. I highly recommend checking it out, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes out with next. I can’t wait to see what she would do on a full-length project.
