Lost & Found by TDott

This track is something else. The emotion in it just fills you in on his story. It’s a beautiful piece with depth but also precision. It might be TDott’s best songs to date. The raw emotion and atmosphere in this track is something I haven’t felt in a while and I truly have to give him props for making a track that is so touching but also sonically fantastic too. The track opens up to a heart beat, which can mean different things but it already sets up a very unique and slightly darker atmosphere. The vinyl crackling with the deep dark and large undertone instrumentals makes for an interesting experience before the track truly begins. TDott comes in with a very powerful melodic performance that holds a lot of raw emotion and depth. His cadence is consistent and his delivery is powerful. The melodic tone is what helps the lyrics hit harder because you can sense the emotion through the melody and get a sense of what emotion he wants you to feel. The lyrical content itself is fantastic, he speaks on some very deep yet important topics that lots of people, especially ones who do things on a scale of fame feel. It’s a touching piece that even I can relate to and that’s something that made this track really stand out to me. It ticks all the boxes for a powerful and emotional track but it’s relatability and message is what will hold its place and may safe lives. Relatable music is something to never overlook, that is the one and only real way to build a powerful and loyal fanbase. This is exactly how you get people who say, “this artist saved my life” line because they had tracks that brought the artist on that listeners level and life experience/ situation. That’s something very powerful and a tool that can make or break an artist. TDott is a different type of artist because there is no way I can classify him in any specific category. He’s a very versatile artist with range and skills in making a track that evokes powerful emotions with “Lost & Found” being one of the main ones at the moment. The way he structures his music and delivers it really speaks for itself. The ending where he says “The love was lost but now I’m found” really hits deep and the way he delivers it really makes it so much more powerful and important. With this being a great example of what TDott can make I’m truly excited and ready to see and hear his next full body of work. An album or an EP should definitely be on the agenda. He got a strong fanbase this early in his career and a project will only help spread the word across the city even faster. Regardless, I’m truly excited to see where he goes next and what he has planned for 2023.
