Ego Death by Lil Esso

Lil Esso's latest single, "Ego Death," has been widely anticipated. This is one of his most powerful songs yet. On this track, there's something about the way he delivers his lyrics and his cadence that just hits hard. His melodies and rhythms are infectious and play an important role in the track's emotion and overall appeal. It's incredible to see his vocal progression from some of his earlier work to something like this. He is becoming a star and a legend in front of our eyes. Esso's music has always had excellent lyrical content. That’s actually one of the things I really appreciate about his music. His lyrically content is relatable and sometimes emotional. That relatable aspect is what makes him so good and what will take him so far. People love and get attached to music that they can relate to and even envision themselves in. And that’s something Esso has in my observation and experience, excels in beyond everyone else. Besides that, the beat and instrumentals are always an important part of any track. In this case Esso used something that packs a punch but also has a lot of character and atmosphere. A tracks atmosphere is something that will define you track and its audience. So it’s important to know exactly what you want. This track begins with a cinematic piano riff and Esso's vocal ad libs in the background. Along with the piano, there is either a guitar or some sort of string instrument playing in harmony but I’m not too sure. All of these elements combine to create a very grand sound that expands on the massive sound stage the track provides. Esso's music has a great sense of atmosphere, and I can say that his music, especially story-driven tracks like "Ego Death," have a cinematic side to it. Almost like there are fast run and gun videos and videos that are more cinematic and story-driven. Esso has had a fantastic start to the year, and I'm excited to see where he goes next. I'm hoping for some sort of project or album. But I know that may come a little late, maybe closer to the latter half of the year.
