YaYa is a future superstar in the making. His music has something to prove; its deep-rooted energy is something I haven't felt from a Toronto artist in a long time. His vocals and cadence are the icings on the cake. His style approach is also very unique, he has the ability to adapt and mold to any style like “Ease The Pain” with a higher energy rock-inspired touch. But his vocal range and delivery style are perfect for slower, more soulful tracks like "All This Shit," which gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. YaYa is someone who can tell a whole story in one song and leave you speechless. Despite his limited discography, he has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with. His first single, "Change," was released in 2020, and it's one of my favorite songs he's ever written. It hit me harder than I ever imagined possible. The fact that this opens up his discography is only making him that much more special and a true breath of fresh air.   "Change" has a purity to it that I believe only artists with complete creative freedom can achieve; his heart and soul are pure, and he is putting it out there. Everything from the vocal delivery to the instrumental choices contributed to the track. "Ease The Pain" would follow suit with a more upbeat rock-inspired flare. I really like the guitar instrumental choice, and the way he delivers his vocals adds a rock element to the track. This is a unique look at YaYa, one that demonstrates his ability to diversify and bring the heat. The year 2021 would only have one single, "Bad Days."  He has a unique way of rhyming and harmonizing the lyrics. It was well worth the wait between his previous single, "Ease The Pain," which was released in December 2020, and this track, which was released almost a year later in September 2021. I think that YaYa takes time to let life do its thing to give him the power and knowledge to make these types of tracks. “All This Shit” would open up the present year of 2022.  This is without a doubt my favorite song. I love the energy it elicits in me when I listen to it. YaYa's beautiful angelic vocals are some of the best I have heard. His mixing and production are superb. He gets you in the mood to think about life, and I love how he has this sound locked down with this track. This appears to be his place, one he can put on a pedestal. With the instrumentals and the larger-than-life atmosphere, the track has a large spacious feel. I enjoy the atmosphere that YaYa creates with his music because it sets the tone and mood of the listener, and his music is all about the atmosphere. Especially his later tracks. His most recent single, "42," is another great love song with heavier bass and a more viby tone. I'm amazed at how much YaYa has accomplished in just five tracks. He hasn't even released an EP, let alone a full-length album. But I would love to see him work on a project soon. Something well-crafted to help him strengthen his fanbase and carve out his own lane. Then he'll release a full-length album to start experimenting and pushing his artistic desires. Regardless of what he does, I'm here for the journey and I'm excited to see where he goes next.
