Raz is something special. Raz is a classic rap artist and a recording producer from Brampton, Ontario. Raz is a lyrical artist who talks about real shit and promotes people to think for themselves and get out of that slave mentality that modern Hip-hop promotes. This may be the fact that rappers these days promote heavy drug use or buying all the cars and jewelry rather than make smart purchases and investments. I respect Raz for keeping it real. Raz is a legend in the city, Raz has worked with the likes of Tyga, Mac Miller, and many other commercially successful artists. Raz has done a lot in his career and is definitely a legend in many people’s eyes and is a dying bread of talented rap artists. The meaning of rap is quickly changing and the classic rap that we all knew and love is now chinging and slowly getting forgotten about. This is definitely not something that should stop you from listening or even becoming a classic rap artist. You should be the artist you want to be not what others want you to be, this is how artists and producers like Raz have been in the game for almost 10 years and are just getting started. stay true to yourself and find ways of connecting with those who share the same interests with you. Razes discography is something else, the sheer amount of music just released in 2020 alone would put others to shame. The consistency and the quality control are just amazing. His latest body of work titled “Gorgeous polo sportsmen”, tracks like “Black baby Jesus”, & “selling dreams to sleepers” are just the tip of the ice burg of what Raz has to offer. The flows, the lyrics, the message behind the words are what truly speaks to me and 12,000 others who tune in every month just on Spotify alone. The impact Raz has had on Toronto is indefinite and will be remembered with great love and passion. This may still very well be just the beginning for Raz but he has already proven that he is a Toronto legend.
