Blockboi Twitch is a Toronto artist mostly known as Twitch in Toronto. Twitch is not new to the scene but has been consistently growing his name and his music catalog. His catalog goes back as far as 2018 with his first album titled “Chances”. 2019 is no different and comes with another great album titled “Chances 11”. His next release was “Drip Splash” which was released this year. A great return for Twitch after one year of no major releases. This all changed after he released his latest project titled “The Chronicles” is his latest album full of great records but one, in particular, stands out to me the most. “1 of 1” is definitely the one that hit the hardest. Blockboi’s smooth flow combined with the slow instrumentals and a Duvy feature goes hand in hand to make this a very unique but fantastic work of art. I already envision a movie for this track, definitely a track that needs something special. This needs a high-value production with someone like (Maxim Bayarsky) who would really take this track to the next level visually. Aside from the catalog, Twitch has really done a lot in the last 3 years. He has grown over 13,000 followers on Instagram and has garnered over 6,000 monthly streams on Spotify and that not including apple music and other social platforms. He has definitely reached a high pedestal in his city, He is well on his way to getting massive success but needs to focus on consistency and not letting go of that. I can’t wait to see what Twitch does next and how he takes his career forward.
