Osé is a brilliant young singer/songwriter. She's been creating a name for herself in the city will great success since 2020. Her voice is both angelic and addictive. It's as if she was destined for R&B; it comes effortlessly to her. She has also refined the sound of Soul music; her voice is simply too beautiful not to be used, and she has used it to create some of the finest R&B/Soul records to come out of Toronto. listen to one track and then realize you're 5 tracks in. She has an infectious voice and a wonderful delivery. She has been openly releasing songs since 2020, and her catalogue has no prior material. She has, however, been composing music for a far longer time. She is gifted, but she has also honed several of her abilities through time. She has considerable experience, which contributes to her music sounding so natural. Her first song, "Games," is a fantastic introduction to her promise and outstanding singing ability. She enters the game with a slow yet powerful single. It's a really polished sound, and it's obvious she's had some experience. This song highlights her vocal tones, her well-known cadence, and her beautiful harmonies. She has carried on this tone and trend with tracks such as "Overfeel," "Fazed," and "Do No More." Her next single, "Hurt Bae," marked a significant advancement in her music career. The delivery, vocal tones, and rhythms are all excellent on this tune. The hook is infectious and catchy. It's a standout track that I believe will receive the attention it deserves with time. It's a timeless peice of work that will be one of her most talked about in the future.  Everyone is influenced by someone, and she identified these musicians as her main influences. H.E.R., SZA, Summer Walker, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, Jhene Aiko and Beyoncé. I can hear components of these musicians, but she has obviously developed her own voice and approach, as evidenced by the debut single's quality and confidence. She has been developing her sound even before she released her first single. It’s amazing to see such talent in the city and I can certainly say that she will be a star in the next few years.
