NGN Sosikk has been on my radar for a while. His discography is small, but it packs a punch. His delivery, style, and passion on the mic keep me interested. This, combined with his consistent collaborations with the fantastic director Jamil Banks, has resulted in a truly unique and exciting look and sound. All of these elements distinguish him and make his small discography stand out and have an impact. I like his cadence; he has a great tone and a lot of energy behind his delivery. Sosikk also has some incredible melodies that really tie his overall sound together. He has a wonderful singing voice, and I can see him exploring a wide range of sounds and styles in the future. It's as simple as that. Versatility equals longevity. His discography starts in 2020 with the single "Say Something." This song has a very heavy melodic approach and an overpowering beat that detracted from the overall experience. Sosikk himself sounds great, almost as confident as he does now. But his production wasn’t as flushed out as it is now. His next single titled “Neva” would deliver slower more passionate sound.  His message is pure and delivered beautifully, I admire his purity and voice. The production is only getting better with each release. "Guys Need Love" would be his final single in 2020. This song features three other members of his affiliates NGN. Sosikk gave an outstanding performance. That was some of his best vocals to date, and it set him apart from the crowd. He really is a star material, this performance alone proves that. 2021 would feature some of his best work to date. His fist release titled “Rainy Days” would start the year of strong featuring Rcklesskid. I like the energy and flows on this track; he really dives into his rap side on this track while still providing us with a classic melodic hook that just gets stuck in your head. This song would get us ready for his first project titled, "Tired of Love." This EP introduced five new singles: "Tired of Love," "Everything," "Fake Love," "I Can't Feel," and "I Got You." This project contains some of his most accomplished work to date. "Tired of Love" is a masterpiece in every way, from the flows to the melodies to the delivery to the beat selection. This is his best song; it's pure, of high quality, and timeless. His energy and pain can be felt throughout the song; he truly made a hit. His flows and delivery on the acoustic guitar instrumental are a classic sound that he has made his own on "I Can't Feel." It's the vibe and energy these tracks exude; he's really found something that works perfectly, and the world is about to wake up. The project has no skips and brings a track of all of his fans, it’s not a very extensive one where he experiments but he delivered on a sound he has been perfecting and a sound his fans have come to love. Only two singles would be released in 2022, titled "PRESSURE" and "WALK DOWN." Sosikk delivered a much heavier, more aggressive performance on "PRESSURE." This is a new sound and style that has opened the doors to wider audience in the city. It's his most streamed song to date, and I can see how it would rock the city. "WALK DOWN" would deliver something similar with a more melodic approach while still emphasizing his delivery and flows. These tracks differed from his 2021 sound, but I like that he is experimenting and looking for new ways to grow. His potential is undeniable, and he is extremely versatile. I can definitely see Sosikk reaching new heights in the coming years, and I hope he can maintain his consistency. We need a lot more music, and that could be what propels him to the top. Regardless, I'm looking forward to hearing more music and, hopefully, a new full-length project.
