RARRI is a gifted young artist with a powerful voice and a small but flavourful discography. RARRI has been on my radar for the past two months, and after sitting down and listening to his entire discography, I've come to appreciate his art and creativity. RARRI is a melodic artist who combines unique flows and lyrics with beautiful melodies and harmonies. He has an almost pop-like sound that has mass appeal; he has mentioned T-Pain, Lil Wayne, and Sean Paul as influences, and I can see why. He has created something unique in the city; he is truly a global music artist with a very approachable and respectable personality. He shows love to people who aren't even on his level, and I admire artists who stand up for what they believe in and show love to others. That demonstrates genuine self-assurance in his shoes and as an artist in this industry. He competes with himself rather than with others, which I believe is uncommon in the city. Even with this amazing new generation of underground talent on the rise. RARRI's vocal range and delivery are among the best currently on the market. It sounds natural and not forced, implying that he did not learn to sing out of nowhere and had been doing so from the beginning. When you listen to someone's voice that has been synthesized, it is not as pleasing and stands out. RARRI has also nailed his overall look and style; he is a well-off artist who appears to be ready for his big break. RARRI's discography begins in 2019 with the single "Slide." This track sounds very similar to the current RARRI, but it is more raw and unfiltered. But I have to say its still hold up very well in 2022. Aside from the mixing and production, his flows and delivery were excellent. Even his raw vocal performance was great, he has gradually improved his ability to wrap up his sentences, keeping them in key and delivering them with more confidence over time. You can hear RARRI's more shaky and inexperienced voice back then, but for his first single, I'm still very impressed. "Remember Me" would be the title of the next single. This song improved on both his writing and the quality of his cover art. This has more structure than his first single, and it's already beginning to come together. In 2019, he released his one and only project. "Too Much to Lose" is a seven-track EP. This was an excellent project. The production was excellent from start to finish, and there are many great classics included. This is a significant improvement over anything he was releasing at the time, and the project still holds up perfectly today. He'd end the year with a single called "Flex Up." This song featured excellent vocal performances and was overall very enjoyable. The production threw me off; the mixing was good, but the track wasn't mastered. It sounded bad on some speakers but good on others. This is something that is very common early on and I feel like in 2019 he had songs with great mixes and some that weren't as clean but that would all change in 2020. He would only have one single released, "Options," which would be his best track to that point. The production had vastly improved, resulting in excellent mixing and mastering. He sounded completely different, as if he were on another level. His vocal style and performance also improved. He began to demonstrate much stronger song structure and writing abilities, as well as improved vocal performances and overall confidence. We didn't get anything else for the rest of that year or in 2021. He'd make a strong comeback in 2022, releasing a total of seven singles. The standout singles are "Loyalty," "Heartbreak & Hermes," and "Dead Wrong." His delivery and confidence on these are outstanding. In these tracks, he sounds like a completely different artist. Everything from the production, to the mixing and mastering, to the delivery and vocal performance, to the cover arts and content, would advance dramatically in 2022. This where I feel he really got into his bag and really began to look and operate as a real artist and one that is well in his way to making it big. I'm excited to continue following RARRI's journey and hope to see some sort of project before the end of the year. Regardless, I'm here for the journey.
