Nate Husser is one of the city's more distinct voices doing massive things. Husser has been doing his thing for many years, and it's inspiring to witness someone who simply does what he loves and sticks to it regardless of new trends and styles. Husser's music career began in early 2015 with his single titled "Name Another N199*." In terms of his voice, this track doesn't sound all that different from his subsequent work. However, you can hear his early hip hop inspirations and the grittier tone he was aiming for. The flows and delivery was just something else, really something dope to look back on. Husser would not release another single until early to mid-2017, with his single "Can't Blame Em." This tune had a distinct tone, a different intensity, and an entirely new level of production quality all around. This was the beginning of something great. This is one of the more distinct sounds emanating from the country at the time. This was something completely new that would eventually take the city by storm. Nate's first full-length EP, "Geto Rock for the Youth," was published this year (2017). This album contained a total of seven tracks. This EP was creative and innovative; it was something new and different for us to explore. But, from late 2017 to the end of the year, Nate released another single titled "Catherine." 2018 would be significantly more eventful, with two releases planned for the year, both of which would be short three-track efforts. This year (2018), Nate was quite experimental, bringing some incredibly unique sounds and styles to the table but  2019 was the year we started hearing the more modern Nate; it sounded like he found something that stuck with him. It's a sound and tempo he'll utilize until the end of time. He recorded singles such as "Duck Hunt," "Are You Stoopid," and "Strip," which was produced by Eva Shaw, whose collaborations with Nate are among her best. Their sounds and chemistry match brilliantly, and every tune they make is a classic, and "STRIP" is no exception. 2020 was a jam-packed year that gave us a lot of music, including "Foot On They Neck," "CLAP," and "Punk Me." His sound began to merge mainstream production quality with his inventive cadence and distinct flows. 2020 was a terrific year for growth and identity, but 2021 and 2022 were the years that moved things to the next level. We've got classics like "Teriyaki," "On a Roll," "On Deck," and "Dwayne Carter Flow." His second full-length project, "Adult Supervision," was published in 2021 and featured a stellar lineup of songs including “Water With The Candy”, “Gang Signs”, and “Sleep Like A Baby”. This project provided a diverse spectrum of sounds and flows, as well as some of the most distinctive musical rhythms I've ever heard. There was something so pure and joyful about this project, even the cover art wonderfully captured the spirit. Nate Husser has been one of the country's most significant artists; his style, sound, and appearance are pure originality and experimentation. I'm excited to see where Nate goes next, but all I can say is that he'll produce something that will last for many years.
