kato is a young talented artist coming straight from Toronto. Kato has achieved a lot for such a young age and being from Toronto, Canada. His fan base is something that always makes me smile. Seeing someone out here with such a devoted fanbase showing consistent love is amazing. Kato is known for his recent release titled “Wit My Hoe” which is a remix from C2D’s track. This is the one that has been taking his name to another level. The track is a great representation of Kato and his sound, his remix was quality and with good taste. This is even more evident that the track has already garnered over 900,000 streams on Soundcloud on two separate accounts. It has even had other channels reposting and reuploading the audio and bringing in millions of new listeners to the track from across these channels. This is a very smart move and one that will continue to push his name out there.

I have been listening to Kato for over a year now and the progress in quality and also the image is huge. He has really been taking his music a lot more seriously and doing it on a more consistent basis. This has been a key factor in building hype and getting new viewers to see Kato. But that’s just to get the people to see his music, it’s not enough to guarantee a real fan who will stick around. Kato being so young and relatable is a key element of retaining people and making them into fans, Kato’s style of music is at the forefront of hip-hop in today’s age.

All of these come together to make Kato a respectable and palatable artist. This is also magnified by his discography. Tracks like “One & Only”, “$lums”, & “$elfish” are just a few of my favorites. Most of his music lives on Soundcloud but a lot of his old music has been deleted. If you're an OG fan you would know. He has been doing this for a few years and slowly getting his name out there. Now Kato has a very bright future, he needs to start leveling up the production even more. Working with big producers and taking his quality forward. He is already doing a lot of things right and with time he will no doubt take off. I cant wait to see what Kato makes next and to see our collaboration with him.
