This week’s artist is coming off a DMTV music video release. Guss is someone that genuinely has found his lane and his sound and for that, he is definitely someone that deserves to get the spotlight. The prior release titled “Cold Summer” is the track we did a DMTV video for. That was the first step in a new direction, a bigger and better direction. His latest release titled “KaneKorso” is another banger right after “Cold Summer” and that vision I had for his future releases and his career is coming true. Guss is one of the first artists on the list of artist moving forward that has been seeing the effects of DMTV and will continue to feel it as time goes on. The brand awareness is growing as well as his name, but we are here to talk about Guss.

Guss has been releasing music since 2020. His career is still in the earlier stage but has a lot of progressions that most don’t have this early on. His sound is unique to himself, he’s making his own lane and image. That is hard to come across in someone that hasn’t been doing it for that long. This combined with a DMTV video, has Guss going to a whole other level this early in his career. Guss’s consistent look and style are something that caught my attention right away. Most artists early on don’t put any effort in being consistent in their looks and in their styles but to see Guss be so confident in his style and look is something refreshing.

Guss’s look has been focused mainly on dark tones and green as the main color for everything. Photos, cover arts, music videos, etc. This level of consistency is something that will help Guss grow a lot faster and help him connect with his fanbase on a whole other level. That is the definition of great branding, Guss is an artist with a set stone brand that when you see it you will always think of him. That connection is not easy to build but Guss has started it early on. His mellow yet powerful music is something that I still have yet to be able to label and that is a good thing. Labels being attached to people are usually what boxes them in. I feel this different approach is not only innovative but will also help him build his own box rather than be put into one. Overall I mess with Guss’s image, his sound, and his approach to his music and career. With consistency and persistence, he will build a colt fanbase and he will definitely be a pioneer in his time.
