Astrokidjay is a unique voice in the city. He contributes an angelic voice tone to rap that is vastly underrated. He bridges the R&B and Hip-hop gaps. His delivery and beat selections are Hip-hop, although his voice and cadence are softer R&B. He has no boundaries; he may expand out into a variety of genres and sounds in the future, which very few musicians in the city can accomplish. This is due to his vocal abilities and lyrical performance.  He has certainly made his stamp in the city, and his music has evolved throughout the years. His discography is chock-full of powerful and unforgettable performances. Tracks like "My Time," "Airplane Mode," and "Will Or Won't" immediately spring to mind. These are billboard hit-worthy singles, with everything from the instrumentals to the delivery to the cadence coming together to create a memorable moment. His discography extends back to 2019, with tracks like "Ibiza," "PEEP THIS," and "MTL Freestyle" serving as the year's top three. Looking back at his 2019 releases, he already established a signature sound. However, he has improved and matured through the years. Every year, the releases got more consistent. 2020 had released singles such as "Kung Fu," "Solid," and "3 AM." This was again another fantastic year for music. His dependability was improving. This leads us to his massive 2021, in which he released six songs and a full-length album titled "Wizard Boy." Everything was on another level, from the beat selection to the production quality. A significant improvement over past years. He progressed and began delivering classics such as "My Time," "Won't Come Around," and "Panamera." The music was getting better and more frequent, and it was a terrific moment to be an Astro fan. As of this writing, 2022 is still in process, and he has already given three of my favorite singles from his entire discography: "Airplane Mode," "Goldeneye," and "Will Or Won't." These are the only 2022 releases, and all three are among my all-time favorites. His output quality in 2022 is significantly higher than in 2019. His voice may not have changed all that much, but the quality and confidence behind it have, and it's incredible to see. I’m excited to see what he has in store for us next.
