NIA NADURATA recently unveiled her newest single, titled "drive faster," which caught my attention after discovering her on RADAR Canada. Upon listening to the track, I was immediately astounded by her unique cadence and ethereal voice. As someone who appreciates diverse musical styles, the soft tones of this song are not typically in my repertoire. However, when I encounter a piece like this that holds genuine passion and heartfelt emotion, it undeniably leaves a lasting impression on me. The production quality of "drive faster" plays a significant role in its captivating sound. The acoustic guitar, a timeless instrument, adds an enchanting touch that never fails to resonate with me. NIA’s delivery is very refreshing, she didn’t just find a pocket and stayed in it, she branched off and gave us something with depth. She also showcased some fantastic range here, her impressively wide vocal range is something I know she will be able to push even further with the right instrumental on the table, but she really showcased something special here. The lyricism of "drive faster" is simple yet remarkably powerful, effectively conveying its message. Complemented by a straightforward music video, the song succeeds in evoking the intended emotions. The meticulous cohesion and flawless execution of every aspect of this release are what make it truly outstanding. The fact that this is her first official release is also amazing. Clearly not her first song but she started this new chapter in her life/ career with a bang. There is an undeniable authenticity to her music, this might stem from a place of genuine passion or a distaste for the commercially-sided music industry. This will help safeguard NAI against the loss of love and individuality that can sometimes plague the industry. She has so much raw talent and potential to really make it big. I’m excited about NIA's future endeavors, I hope to witness her continuous growth as she crafts something truly remarkable with her beautiful voice.
