Yuteman Denise by Skiifall ft. Charlotte Cardin & Zibz

Skiifall just released his latest single titled “Yuteman Denise” with Charlotte Cardin & Zibz. This is his first release of the year and it’s already hype. Skiifall is a natural, he really knows how to create a catchy and memorable track. This is an unexpected collab between Skiifall, Charlotte Cardin & Zibz, but they ended up making one hell of a track. Zibz opens the track with his abstract cadence style that really captures your attention. His cadence is nothing overly unique at first listen until you hear how he delivers it and how natural he sounds doing it. With more listens you start to pick up those unique tonal changes that really sets his voice apart from the rest. His verse is the introduction to the track and it is also what starts the build-up toward that inevitable drop later in the song. Charlotte slowly enters right after Zibz's verse, adding her beautiful vocal melody that really gives this track a different feel. She gave the song that brighter light atmosphere which was perfect for the massive change up in pace and aesthetic when Skiifall jumps in. I love to see collabs that may not make sense on paper but really deliver something different and unique in practice. This was definitely a unique collection of artists on one song, but it work, and it worked very well. Skiifall as always is the highlight of anything he’s a part of. He delivered a superb performance that has got to be the highlight of the year. His voice is only getting better and his flow and delivery are as confident as can be. His cadence is one of my favorites coming out of the country. He has this edge to him that really is hard to describe but his traditional Patois accent adds a level of flair that’s natural to him but also something that has become a staple of what makes Skiifall so unique. His vocal range is another element that plays a role in his sound, from all the music I have heard he really utilized his voice well. His flows are so natural and effortless, he rides the beat and articulates his flow of it. It’s such a natural combo that it almost feels like the beat was made after his verse was recorded. That’s when you know you got something really good going here. The production was fantastic. I had to give the producer some props because the vibes and atmosphere of the track were very well taken care of. I love the gradual build-up in the instrumentals from the start of the track to the eventual beat drop when Skii jumps in. The beat itself was simple yet delivered a thump that was perfect, It was out of the way and never became the center of attention like many beats out today. The mixing and mastering are as always superb with anything Skiifall. There is nothing more that needs to be said. I’m really excited for the rest of 2023. I can’t wait to see what Skiifall has in store for us next. I hope for some sort of a project this year, or maybe a huge collab.
