Xora is one of the most talented artists to emerge from Ottawa's underground culture. Over the last few years, he has released some incredible music. His most recent release, though, was a 9-track EP titled "Moonchild." It's full of heavy hitters such as "Leave," "No Idea," and "Mad." Today, we're focused on "No Idea," a track that has a long lasting impact on me. The entire project is on repeat, but "No Idea" has a certain something about it that keeps you coming back for more. The instrumentals provide a dark and deep vibe that is complemented by Xora's higher pitched bright catchy voice. His delivery and cadence are catchy and melodic. His vocal tones are incredibly wide, and when combined with the quality production done by Rafmade and J Dolla, it provides for an incredible experience that I can't get enough of. I have to mention that this is without a doubt one of the top hyperpop/plugnb artists in the city. His vocal tones and delivery much outperform that style and genre, and he can easily transition into something more mainstream or create a new wave and lane with his sound. SSGKobe, SoFaygo, and Auttunm are the three artists he most resembles for those new to the genre or looking for similar talents. His voice, on the other hand, is unique. That is something that distinguishes the other three as well. They create very similar music sonically, but their voices are absolutely distinct, and I can say that with absolute surety about Xora.  They all have their own delivery and flows too, it’s a different experience every time.  I bring this up because everyone usually says that they all sound the same, which is ridiculous. We can say the same thing regarding lyrical shmirical rappers back in the day. His look and style are also something he has made his own, as his fans will confirm. His entire look and style is all done so well and his music is something that can not go unnoticed.  With the album, he has created a fantastic work of art, with many tracks, such as "No Idea," being tunes that might easily succeed as singles. This is a fantastic experience that I will continue to enjoy for a long time. Excited to hear what to come next from Xora's ever growing discography.
