Quincy Isaiah just released his latest masterpiece titled "Needed You." Quincy recently appeared on my radar, and his voice is one of the best I've heard coming out of the scene thus far. His cadence is unbelievable and infectious. Something about his vocal style and delivery is addictive. He only has two singles out, this being one of them, and it's clear that he prefers quality over quantity, which I appreciate a lot. Artistry needs time and when someone is dedicated that’s always something to admire. His instrumental choice and beat selection were brilliant, and the grand-sounding production only enhanced the experience and set the tone for the rest of the track. His overall performance was great. The mix of the track is on par with some of the best in the game, and his appearance completes the package. I love the aesthetic he went with his look. His consistency in a color palette on things like his cover arts are what makes him stand out. Quincy is unquestionably star material, and with music like this, he will reach large audiences soon. The track mixing and mastering are of high quality; I appreciate it when artists invest in their music and make it the best it can be. I can tell you that labels and major brands are always looking for music that has been properly mixed and mastered. That's something that is a deal breaker in the majority of cases. So, while a regular listener may not care, the next artist, collaborator, or investor will. Quincy's voice is an important part of the discussion. His voice has the perfect pitch; it's neither too high nor too low. It has the perfect balance of everything, which is what makes it so amazing. His vocal tone changes and flows throughout the song are a strong hold on what makes the track pop out for me. I love the melodies and the instrumentals but what makes the track last longer are the flows and unique dynamic changes in his delivery. His confidence on the mic is something that is a very big show of experience. So even though this is the second official release he is definitely a skilled artist with some hours under his belt. I'm looking forward to hearing more from Quincy; we need more music. An EP would be extremely effective if released before the summer of next year. Regardless though, I’m very excited to see where Quincy goes next, and I’m here for the journey.
