Eyes on her by 44 Romance & Donny Lovato
Toronto Music Archive
The latest single from 44 Romance, "Eyes on her," features his most refined cadence yet. His vocal tones, mixing style, and overall delivery are all fantastic. His confidence is at an all-time high, and you can hear it in his voice. He's getting into a rhythm now, finding his own lane and style, and I think he's getting close. The track starts off with a punchy beat and another artist by the name of Donny Lovato. Donny's distinct overly mixed and compressed vocals add something new to the track, making it stand out a little more. The ad libs are fantastic, adding a little something extra to an already fantastic performance from the two. 44’s flow on the track is crazy. The ending where both 44 and Donny go back and forth sounded amazing. Their flow together was something that only good chemistry can create. 44's melodic overtones really bring his music to the forefront, allowing him to reach a wider audience and female demographic. He has the voice to really take his music into so many different avenues. He's developing his look and style and has proven to be one of the most energetic artists on the scene with his most recent show. His energy is unrivalled, and his ability to perform and hold a crown is an important part of developing a fanbase and style that will only benefit him in the future. So I already saw his potential just from show performance. His music also surprised me and showcased his versatility and ability as an artist. Now it’s time to up the consistency. It’s a matter of time before his name will spread like wildfire. Excited for future releases and hopefully a full length tape sometime this year.
