FRVRFRIDAY, the rising R&B singer and songwriter, has been making waves in the music industry with his smooth vocals and infectious beats. His latest release, "Birthday Girl," is a perfect example of his talent and his well put together style. The song was released on November 11th, 2022, it’s one of my favorite tracks of his in recent memory. I love the vibe and aesthetic he went with for this track. FRIDAY's lyrics are heartfelt and sincere, expressing his feelings of affection for a girl. It’s not the lyrics that are impressive but FRIDAY’s delivery of them and the emotion and power in which he delivers them in. The production of "Birthday Girl" is also noteworthy, with a catchy melody and upbeat tempo that is sure to get listeners dancing. The song's opening is a perfect introduction to the upbeat rhythm that follows, with an infectious guitar riff that sets the tone for the track. As the song progresses, FRVRFRIDAY's vocals take center stage, providing a smooth and emotional delivery of the lyrics. The chorus, which features the repetition of the title phrase, is catchy and easy to sing along to, making "Birthday Girl" a hit worthy track. "Birthday Girl" is a testament to FRVRFRIDAY's talent and potential.

The song showcases his ability to write and produce a hit, while also showcasing his distinct voice and style. With his rise in popularity, it's clear that FRVRFRIDAY is a force to be reckoned with in the R&B world, and "Birthday Girl" is a perfect example of his growing success. I love the design approach of the cover and the overall aesthetic of this track. The pink color palette really helps bring the vibe to life before the track has even begun. All of these elements work together to make the final product what it is, so don’t overlook the cover art. The color palette and aesthetic is what triggers a response from your audience before the song is even playing, so when that translates with the music you get the perfect combination that really sells the message of the music which FRIDAY has done here with “Birthday Girl.” I’m excited to see where he goes from here. I hope to see some type of project this year, either an EP or a full length album would be huge. I think it’s time for that full length FRIDAY album. He really is one of the best coming out of the city today and his talents are only showcased in a handful of songs. I could only imagine the unreleased music that has yet seen the light of day.
