Varsity is a phenomenal pure raw talent. He has a lot of potentials, he is very close to getting that industry-quality sound. I can already hear the quality going up with each track and with a few more adjustments, Varsity will start to appeal to more mainstream audiences and to radio stations. “Passion” is my favorite track from the Varsity tracklist, the overall product as a whole did everything perfectly. The lyrics hit hard and have real weight to them, he talks about some real shit. Lyrics like “I be really working while they napping” is something every creative has seen or experienced. While you’re grinding there are tones of others just wasting time and not doing anything good. Taking action is the most important step in success and that lyric really illustrates that perfectly. The rhythmic patterns on this track are just fantastic, he knows how to carry himself on the mic. I’m glad this is his biggest track so far, definitely deserves the attention. It has garnered over 600,000 streams over the last year. A big win for Varsity and definitely not the last one. “Big Deal”, and “Gorillas” are more great examples of hits in Varsity’s tracklist. They take Varisty to the next level, “Big Deal” has a fantastic hook and great lyrics. “Gorillas” goes harder on the rhythms and rimes. He can reach a lot of different dynamics with voice, it adds depth to the music and really shows his versatility. I see Varsity as a genuine inspirational artist with music to get you feeling and going on an idea or to think about life. He got some great messages in those tracks and I feel inspired when listening to his music. He got true passion and intentions and I can hear and feel that when listening to his music, he a real one. I can see Varsity in the big leagues very soon, with the raw talent he has it’s just a matter of time until he goes mainstream. He just needs to continue building more and more connections in the industry and focusing his attention on the united states.
