Slayde, full name Trask Slade Cabrera Charles, is a gifted young artist with something unique to offer. Slayde has a highly distinctive look and sound. His music is a magnificent blend of many different styles and sounds, but one thing is certain. He has a fantastic voice, which he uses in his songs. His vocal tone shifts during songs like "convenient for you" are incredible. He can sing low and high notes with ease and knows how to mix them together wonderfully. His instrumental beat selections are excellent, combining acoustic and techno sounds. The back story in music is that when growing up, his father played a lot of reggae and rock, which are influences you can hear and see today. His music is a blend of R&B, pop, and rock influences. He doesn’t have a direct style but something he has been making his own. His most recent release, "convenient for you," is a wonderful mix with a variety of flows and cadences. His voice tone shifts are really distinct and forceful in terms of generating an impression. Slaydes' discography is modest, yet it is effective in delivering his message and demonstrating his abilities. His debut tune was posted on SoundCloud in 2018 and titled "IFUHDABIH". His early tracks were incredibly experimental and sound nothing like his recent material, which is exactly what I like to hear. That indicates he grew and changed. This is a reflection of a highly creative individual who has been refining his skill for a few years. His progress has been tremendous; the mix quality of his music now is on another level, and his cadence immediately stuck out to me. It's a list level, and it reminds me of The Weeknd. Slayde’s flows and cadence are infectious and memorable. Tracks like "convenient for you," and “TURBULENCE”. These songs all have that memorable hook with this overly lively and bigger-than-life feeling. This larger than life atmosphere is something that makes his music so powerful and so infectious. His music just brings something out of you that is amazing. After all, I’m waiting on what slayde decides to do next. Can’t wait to see what he can create for a full-length project.
