Skip is a one-of-a-kind and skilled Toronto artist. The skilled songwriter has been continuously releasing throughout the year, with various fan favourites including "Actin," "Eve Gene," and "Handgun". Over the past year, Skip has developed his own modest movement and sound. Everyone has a reason or a motive for doing something, and Skip's incentive is his past trauma. His message has included a strong emphasis on mental health, and his music serves as an outlet for both others and, most importantly, himself. It's intriguing to uncover the depth and true motives behind people's decisions and why they make what they do. Knowing their backstories allows you to appreciate their music and experiences even more. It may apply to anybody, Everyone goes through difficult times, and each person's experience is unique.

Skip's message can still be heard through his tiny but powerful discography. His 11 tracks have been released as 5 singles and an album titled "Personal Stereo." His music is a mash-up of lyrical rap, R&B, and a lot of his own distinct components. He uses a variety of vocal styles, but his most prevalent is a monotone soft voice that he uses throughout most of his tracks. He incorporates more powerful sounds into several of his tracks, such as "Eve Gene," "Die Always," and "Handgun." Through "Handgun," he demonstrated his variety in rap. He continues to bring his own approach to it, but with a faster rapping style and a stronger more forceful instrumental to provide the energy. He has aspects of Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. There is no one to whom I can immediately compare him, which is a really positive thing. He's developing his own style and sound. This is a start to a bright future and a promising career for Skip.
