Hoodbaby Peppa
Toronto artist blog.
Hoodbaby Peppa has become a powerful force since the release of his album "LA MADE A VIBE." It's loaded with bangers such as "Nice To Meet Ya," "South Boyz," and "Covid Trapper." He's got that particular voice that he's mastered and taken to the next level in 2021. His sound has taken the city by storm. However, just a few people have been able to achieve this at a high level. His cadence contains a variety of vocal tones and is not flat. He has a good voice. He's used it in songs like "Peace & Love." On his current album, he's the most polished he's ever been, and he's ready for the next stage of his career. He definitely demonstrated his talents and potential as a mainstream star. His ties to the streets are obviously preventing him from taking that next step right now. But I genuinely believe his abilities are too great to go unnoticed. It's simply a matter of time. Hoodbaby Peppa is the Hoodbaby group's largest member. This might be a sizable bunch emerging from Toronto. Something like to the Migos. They can all make history and create something never seen in Toronto before. There is a lot of potential in that category alone, which strengthens my point even more.
Peppa's Spotify discography begins in early 2020 with the single "Medication." It's not entirely different from what we know him for today, but it's obviously a more inexperienced and unsure Peppa. His 2020 releases consistent of eight singles, including "RR," "Most Hated," and "Supposed To." "Most Hated" is nearly as good as anything he's released recently. He was now finding his sound and cadence. It's not as polished as his latest tunes, but it's a huge improvement. The year 2021 marked a significant advancement. The year began with a song called "Ghetto Love" and quickly progressed to his first effort, a 5-track tape called "Mix Emotions." Peppa had found himself by this stage, with the opening track on the tape, "Her Favorite," being a cinematic vocal gem. Definitely one of the EP's highlights. Peppa had a more noteworthy year in 2021. You can see he was serious about his music. He released fewer singles but more well-crafted projects. His following release was a three-track tape named "Lost Love," which featured a more mature and confident tone. After a few singles, we get at his most recent and refined masterpiece, "LA MADE A VIBE." This leaves us here. A great strong discography that is only stretched across two years. It’s a great showcase of who Peppa is but there is a lot more for Peppa to do and this is only the start. Can’t wait to hear what Peppa drops next.
