Cholo, a bright young Toronto artist that has been consistently releasing heat all of 2021. He released a total of 14 single this year thus far. With singles like "Last Week," "Last Week 2," and "I Ain't Just Anyone." These three tracks stand out as having the most polished sound and a style that Cholo excels in. He possesses the voice for impassioned vocal rap, and he has already put his own touch on it. On "Last Week 2," his intensity, creative voice, and cadence variations are incredible. He has created a tune that is full of strength, passion, and reflection. His most recent release was titled "PAZ," it's a Hispanic single, Cholo rapped entirely in Spanish and it was targeted for a whole other demographic. A show of diversity. Cholo himself is a Hispanic artist and has collaborated with another fellow Hispanic artist named Chromazz. They've both released a track titled "Hennessy." that also released a music video for back in October. This is one of Cholo's biggest collaborations, but definitely not the last.
Cholo's discography is extensive, as previously stated. Throughout the list, his style varies. His most perfected style is the vocal rap heard on tunes such as "Last Week," "Last Week 2," and "I Ain't Just Anyone." Cholo, on the other hand, has more to offer with experimental sounds like "Gleefully," "Whoopski," and "Mata." He transitions from a lighthearted uplifting sound on "Gleefully" to a trap sound on "Whoopski" to a drill sound on "Mata". This is where he showcases his diversity. This is what distinguishes him from a lot of others. This is emphasized even further by the track "PAZ." This is a slow Hispanic song performed entirely in Spanish. This might be another path Cholo is taking or another market he is attempting to enter. That may be a direction he is looking into going as it's a large market. There is a lot of potential in Cholo and I can’t wait to see what he releases next.
