Tuesday Session by Pax ft. Kid Kwazii
Toronto Music Archive
Pax delivered a masterpiece with one of the hardest Kwazii verses to ever grace our ears. This was a one-of-a-kind record filled with lyrically gifted and inclined individuals. The iconic rap instrumentals from the 1990s provide intensity to the bars. It's the perfect foundation for the track. With his lively flow and cinematic cadence, Pax delivered a strong memorable verse. Kwazii delivers one of his most brilliant lyrical verses. His assurance cuts through the noise and his deeper cadence reveal his more serious side. His flows and rhythms are exceptional, and his delivery is commanding. This was a lethal combo; Pax brought out the best in Kwazii, and it's clear they recognize one other's strengths. Kwazii has always been a lyrical genius, and this track clearly demonstrates his abilities and assurance behind the microphone. This is one of many incredible tracks in both Kwazii's and Pax's discographies. We've talked about Kwazii before, but Pax is new to me. He has one of the strongest lyrical rap discographies in the city, in my opinion. His beat choices are excellent, and he picks them effectively. He has a great ability to collaborate and allow others to shine on his records. He provides people with his platform, which no one else in the city can claim. This contributes to some pretty unique collaborations as well as some of the most interesting music coming out of the city. Pax's music has a lot of substance, which is what makes it timeless. He has definitely mastered his cadence and his delivery style. His confidence isn't even a question and his skill behind the mic is years of work and consistent releases. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this duo in the future, as well as more of Kwazii's lyrical rap side. I'm excited to see what these two artists have in store for us next.
