Misaa has been someone I've had the pleasure of watching develop into the artist she is today. She is one of the most talented artists to come out of the city in a long time. She has the rawest talent I've seen so far. Kid Kwazii has her under his belt for a reason. They'll be stirring the pot very soon. I love seeing such talented people take the necessary steps to make their careers a reality, and for a long time, it was all unreleased music that kept her career going behind the scenes. But it wasn't until she released her latest project, "already left," that I felt like things really clicked. Misaa's voice is the biggest draw for her as an artist; her vocal range and flexibility are astounding. I've heard many other people sing beautifully, but Misaa's voice and delivery are just so perfect and natural. Misaa will undoubtedly be one of the most important artists of our generation, and most people are unaware of it. Her image and appearance are great now but they will only get better and be influenced with time and success. But that's how talented I believe she is artistically. We haven't even seen her at her best or at her full potential. Having had the opportunity to listen to her unreleased material, all I can say is be here now rather than later, because the ship is leaving and you will be sorry later. But as it stands, her discography isn't particularly extensive as of this writing. It all started in 2020 with a single called "Butterfly," and you can tell she has talent, but it was hampered by the poor quality of the mix and recording. It demonstrates what I mentioned earlier about her being a natural. She really has the vocals down, and she was already outperforming her equipment before she even started releasing anything. The first single from 2021 would be "Better Without You." Misaa is a feature on this track, she and Ethan delivered an outstanding performance together. Giving us a fantastic duo performance that felt equal and complete.

Misaa would follow up with a single titled “Feelin.” This is the first full-length single that sounds full and felt like Misaa's true body of work, it was also very well mixed and produced. Her next single, "rainy days," appears to be the start of her new chapter and direction. I say this because she sounds a lot fuller and her overall mix and production quality are outstanding from this point onwards. She even started to make her cover art more consistent in style as well as her lowercase names throughout her releases up until her latest. "rainy days" has a distinct Misaa sound; her melodies and harmonies are both soothing and infectious. The simple drum pattern adds just the right amount of thump to the track to round it out and make it all come together. Her next single, "for you," would begin slowly and deliver a heartfelt love story. Throughout her performance, I enjoyed her flow changes and beautiful harmonies. In her delivery, she sounds confident and full. This is Misaa preparing for her project. Getting us used to the sound and her style. Maybe even the time she was figuring it all out. Misaa's first project, a 6-track EP titled "already left," would be released on the 2nd of September. The album contains one existing single and five new singles, including "thinking about you," "backseat ballad," and "honey covered backwoods." Misaa really delivered an action-packed project, with Kid Kwazii producing the track "honey covered backwoods." Misaa provided a nice variety of sounds. She gave us more experimental tracks like "backseat ballad" and a more high-energy track with "honey covered backwoods," as well as a more mainstream catchy "thinking about u." This project really highlighted Misaa's versatility, confidence, distinct style, vocal range, and adaptability. I'm really looking forward to seeing Misaa grow and progress. I'm hoping to hear a track with Kwazii soon, and I'm also looking forward to a full-length album in 2023. Regardless of what she does, I’m here for the journey.
